The DGP agreed to the following amendment to the 2023-2024 Edition of the Technical Instructions:
In Part 5, Chapter 5, paragraph 4.1.4.1, subparagraph e), add the following note:
Note.— Until 31 March 2023, shippers may continue to use UN 1169 — Extracts,
aromatic,
liquid and UN 1197 — Extracts,
flavouring,
liquid as shown in the 2021-2022 Edition of these Instructions. In this instance the dangerous goods transport document must indicate the packing instruction number and the UN number and proper shipping name in effect in the 2021-2022 Edition of these Instructions. The marks applied to packages, and overpacks, when applicable, must be consistent with the information shown on the dangerous goods transport document.
