Seamless and Contactless: Sharing Data to Accelerate the Recovery

The ICAO TRIP Symposium and Exhibition on ICAO Traveller Identification Programme (TRIP) will take place from 13 to 15 September 2022 at ICAO Headquarters in Montréal, Canada.

As the global pandemic continues to be prevalent around the world, travel restrictions and other public health mitigation measures have significantly impeded the usual pattern of global mobility and freedom of movement. This event will provide the opportunity to discuss the processes put in place to facilitate data sharing between States and to assess the States’ needs in light of this global situation.

The TRIP Symposium is an excellent event enabling the exchange of information on all aspects of traveller identification management. Its various sessions will highlight the need to enhance international cooperation and collaboration to facilitate the traveller's journey while addressing the multiple threats faced by international civil aviation.

An exhibition will complement the Symposium, displaying a broad range of products and services related notably to travel document security applications, health proofs emission and authentication, border inspection and automated border control systems and identity management.

The programme of the ICAO TRIP Seventeenth Symposium and Exhibition is available under the Programme section along with the programme outline. Please continue to check back for the latest updates on the Symposium.
