One-2-One Meetings

During the Symposium on Innovation in Aviation Security (SIAS), ICAO would like to bring together key decision makers by offering the event participants the privilege to meet with Civil Aviation Authorities, ICAO Member States, Academic Researchers, Speakers, Moderators, Panelists, Sponsors, Exhibitors, and any event attendee through the One-to-One Meeting Service. The One-to-One Meeting Service offered in parallel to the SIAS, will provide you with a simple tool to meet and exchange views in a private setting with other participants. Conference rooms will be reserved exclusively for this purpose. Please note that meetings will not be facilitated by ICAO

Note, that meeting requests may only be filed by an authorized coordinator for each Member State or organization.

How does it work?

Step 1: Business's, Organization's and State's Expression of Interest (EOI)
If you are an interested government official, regulator, airport authority, airline executive, manufacturer, or academic researcher who would like to meet with the Symposium participants, please click here to complete the “Expression of Interest” (Form 1). This form must be completed and submitted online by 6 October 2014. Subsequently, ICAO will post a list of “Attending Entities" on the event website for Symposium participants to request a meeting with.

A List of Attending Entities is available here.

Step 2: Symposium Participant's Request for Meetings
At this stage, those who would like to request a meeting with the parties listed in (List of Participating Entities) will be asked to complete a “Request for Meetings” (Form 2). Your “Request for Meetings” must be completed by 13 October 2014. Any meeting requests received after this date will not be guaranteed. The following details are required: Organization Name, Contact Name, Reason for meeting, Proposed dates and preferred times, Proposed Agenda and any other special request.

Step 3: Meeting Scheduling
Based on the meeting requests received, the availability of facilities and participants, ICAO will prepare a Meetings Master Schedule. ICAO staff will contact you should any scheduling changes be necessary. Once confirmed, you will receive an e-mail indicating the day, time and place of your meeting. It is important for all meeting times to be respected.

Step 4: Onsite Meeting Coordination
Coordination of meeting services will be provided onsite. If you need to cancel or change your confirmed meeting time, please contact the onsite meeting coordinator. Note that last minute meeting time changes may not be possible on short notice.
