On-site registration will be available at ICAO Headquarters
(999 University Street, ground floor, registration area) .

For security purposes, your passport or an equivalent ID authority will be required for the the issuance of the Conference badge with photo.

Meeting location:
The Workshop will take place in the Conference Room 1
(4th floor of Conference Centre).

This unique two-day event brought together top financial, industry and environment experts to discuss international civil aviation in a global carbon market.

The event sought to familiarize participants with key issues related to aviation emissions and carbon markets. A variety of approaches including emissions trading and carbon offset programmes were addressed.

The workshop included a broad discussion of the pros and cons of market initiatives for aviation emissions and the opportunities for a global aviation carbon market.

The subject matter was particularly relevant to persons involved with aviation and environmental protection in ICAO Contracting States, governments, international organizations, aviation industries, financial institutions, and academic/ research institutions.

The workshop was conducted in English and was free of charge.
