A holistic and integrated approach to traveller identification management, as articulated by the ICAO TRIP Strategy, linking the five elements of traveller identification and border controls into a coherent framework: evidence of identity; document issuance and control; Machine Readable Travel Documents (MRTDs); inspection systems and tools; and interoperable applications.
