The EUR/NAT Regional Workshop on CORSIA was held in Helsinki Finland from 26 to 27 March 2019.
Particular focus of the regional workshops was on any pending issues regarding the monitoring of CO2 emissions in 2019, including the approval of Emissions Monitoring Plans by States by 30 April 2019, as well as on reporting and verification of CO2 emissions from international aviation to support States in complying with the related provisions of the CORSIA SARPs by early 2020.
The information presented at the regional workshop is based on the CORSIA-related SARPs, which are applicable on 1 January 2019.
The workshop was attended by 90 participants representing 34 States and 5 International Organizations.
