The Twenty-eighth Meeting of the EUR Data Management Group (DMG/28) was held at the Skeyes premises located at the Brussels Airport, Belgium from 15 to 17 October 2019.

As requested from the Meteorology Group (METG), the EUR Data Management Group will progress with distribution and monitoring tasks related to the issuance of SIGMET* on tropical cyclone in the EUR Region, if deemed required.
Furthermore, the group prepared actions for the upcoming annual OPMET* monitoring period in February 2020. The group also updated that status of the creation of the Regional OPMET Center (ROC) Moscow, subject to EASPG approval. Lastly, the EUR Data Management Group developed actions by members to support the ICAO Meteorological Information Exchange Model (IWXXM) Workshop in the EUR Region (5-6 November 2019, Paris).
The meeting was attended by fourteen participants from eight States (Algeria, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Romania, Russian Federation and the United Kingdom) and ICAO.
