Post Graduate Diploma in Air Transport Management

 

Objectives

 

ICAO’s Global Aviation Training (GAT) Office and the Transport Institute at the National University of General San Martín (IT-UNSAM), Argentina, have partnered to deliver a postgraduate diploma in Air Transport Management in the Spanish language. The programme delivers training in air transport planning, organization, administration and operational safety and in aviation organization and legislation, duly taking safety aspects, the economics and finance of air transport development and environmental protection into account.

 

The specific objectives of the programme are to:

 

  • deliver conceptual tools for adequate system management;
  • build the requisite instrumental skills and techniques for space- and time-bound decision making;
  • analyse the multidimensional characteristics of the air transport system; and
  • identify the multicultural aspects of air transport development.

 

Description

 

The Diploma Programme is under development, and will be initially delivered only in Spanish using a blended methodology. The content will be made up of three Certificates covering the following topics:

 

Certificate 1: Air Transport Policy Management and Planning

Certificate 2: Economic Development and Management of Air Transport

Certificate 3: Resource Management
