Lesotho deposited its instrument of accession to the 1988 Protocol for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts of Violence at Airports during a brief ceremony at ICAO headquarters on 8 June 2010. This brought the total number of States parties to the Protocol to 170.

Deposit by Serbia
Montréal, 17/06/2010
Serbia deposited its letter of Notification of Association with the International COSPAS-SARSAT Programme as a User State during a brief ceremony at ICAO Headquarters on 17 June 2010. The COSPAS-SARSAT Programme provides accurate, timely and reliable distress alert and location data to help search and rescue authorities assist persons in distress. ICAO and IMO are joint depositaries of the International COSPAS-SARSAT Programme Agreement, done at Paris on 1 July 1988.

On 30 September 2010, Panama signed the Convention on the Suppression of Unlawful Acts Relating to International Civil Aviation and the Protocol Supplementary to the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Seizure of Aircraft, both done at Beijing on 10 September 2010 (Beijing Convention and Beijing Protocol of 2010).
