Training Needs Analysis

This Implementation Package (iPack) is a self-contained package aimed to guide and assist civil aviation entities such as Civil Aviation Authorities (CAAs), Civil Aviation Training Centres (CATCs), and any other civil aviation personnel responsible for training, to conduct a training needs analysis (TNA) aligned with relevant guidance material from ICAO’s Global Aviation Training (GAT).

It includes documentation, tools and courses to guide and assist personnel responsible for training in addressing performance gaps through conducting a TNA. A dedicated subject matter expert (SME) will work remotely with the personnel responsible for training, coaching and guiding implementation efforts to achieve the objectives of this iPack. The level of progress made against each iPack objective depends on the availability of entity’s resources to perform the work.
