Regional Aviation Safety Groups (RASGs) and Planning and Implementation Regional Groups (PIRGs)
During 2017 the following PIRGs and RASGs meetings were conducted:
| • | 28th meeting of the ASIA/Pacific Air Navigation Planning and Implementation Regional Group (APANPIRG/28) and the 7th meeting of the Regional Aviation Safety Group – Asia and Pacific Regions; |
| • | 21st meeting of the African-Indian Ocean (AFI) Planning and Implementation Regional Group (APIRG/21) and the 4th meeting Regional Aviation Safety Group – AFI; |
| • | 59th meeting of the European Air Navigation Planning Group (EANPG/59) and the 6th meeting of the European Regional Aviation Safety Group (RASG-EUR/6); |
| • | 16th meeting of the Middle East Air Navigation Planning and Implementation Regional Group (MIDANPIRG/16) and the 6th meeting of the Middle East Regional Aviation Safety Group (RASG-MID/6); |
| • | 53rd Meeting of the North Atlantic Systems Planning Group (NATSPG/53); and |
| • | 28th and 29th meetings of the Regional Aviation Safety Group – Pan America (RASG PA) Executive Steering Committee. |
The Global Forum on Planning and Implementation Regional Groups (PIRGs) and Regional Aviation Safety Groups (RASGs) was held on 13 December 2017. The forum discussed in detail the future strategy path for PIRGs and RASGs.
