Training Course for Regional Officers
The eighth TRAINRO was conducted at ICAO Headquarters from 29 August to 2 September (Session 1) and from 24 to 28 October (Session 2). A total of 19 staff members from all Regional Offices participated in the training, the purpose of which was to further improve the capacity of ICAO Regional Officers in maintaining their currency in the air navigation and safety fields, as well as to complement the Regional Officers’ technical competencies. It also provided a forum for information-sharing and networking among Regional Officers and Headquarters personnel to enhance collaboration and cooperation in the delivery of air navigation, safety and other related programmes in the Regions.
