Please note that suppliers must become a "known supplier of LAGs" if they wish to utilize STEBs from a "known supplier of STEBs". Contact your State civil aviation authority for background information on the approval process for known suppliers.
STEBs should only be used for transfer LAGs. For non-transfer LAGs, normal bags may be used by retailers.
Additional requirements are imposed on known suppliers of LAGs for the validation of supply chain security. Please consult the document "Relevant Information for STEB Manufacturers and Distributers from EB 2008/32 - Guidance Material on Security Controls for Liquids, Aerosols and Gels (LAGSs)" and the appropriate authority for further information.
