MONTRÉAL, 24 July 2013 – The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is presently monitoring updates from the ongoing investigation into the Emergency Location Transmitter fire onboard the parked Ethiopian Airlines jet at London Heathrow airport.
ICAO acknowledges the emerging consensus on the next steps and has been encouraged by the close levels of cooperation being demonstrated by the respective accident investigation authorities, State regulators, as well as the operator and manufacturing communities.
