ICAO Council President Dr. Olumuyiwa Benard Aliu bestows a Council President Certificate on the government of Bolivia, drawing attention to the State’s significant safety oversight progress during 2016.
The special ICAO honorarium was presented on 3 August 2017 to the Representative of Bolivia to ICAO, Mr. Javier Garcia Soruco, and its Ambassador to Canada, Mr. Pablo Guzmán Laugier.
ICAO Council President Certificates were instituted by the ICAO Council in 2016. They are designed to highlight and encourage significant State achievements in the effective implementation of ICAO’s international Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) for civil aviation.
