Season I:
The Series will showcase innovations in aviation with a view to helping viewers understand the technologies, the challenges and the potential for them to deliver on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It will include sessions that introduce the audience to the various ICAO tools, services and products that are designed for use by the innovation community. Some episodes will feature expert panel discussions on various topics related to three key components : the innovations themselves, matching innovations to the problems that they can help solve (and how they do that), and the regulatory challenges to ensure safe, secure, environmentally friendly operations.
Season II:
This second season will showcase innovations in aviation and will provide an outlook into the technologies, their challenges, and their potential to deliver on the Air Navigation Capacity and Safety Strategic Objective and contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The second season will feature sessions on the various ICAO tools, services and products designed for use by the innovation community to make sure that civil aviation remains the safest mode of transport it is today. Discussions will include the innovations themselves, matching innovations to the problems they can help solve, and the regulatory challenges to ensure safe operations.
Season III:
The third season of the ICAO Innovation Webinar Series will showcase
innovations in aviation that have the potential to help progress on the ICAO
Strategic Objectives, deliver on the United Nations Sustainable Development
Goals and enable the recovery and resilience of the aviation system; Help
viewers understand the technologies but also the opportunities and challenges
related to the technologies, exploration of its multiple facets and lessons
learned from research and business applications that would have an impact on
ICAO SARPs development.
