 This Symposium provided an important global forum for ICAO Member States, the air transport industry and other interested parties, to share their liberalization experiences, exchange views on trends and developments, examine issues and solutions in the on-going liberalization process.
The Symposium was hosted by the Department of Civil Aviation, Government of Dubai. More than 250 delegates from ICAO Member States, the aviation industry and international organizations attended this event.
The Symposium programme covered topical, crucial and practical issues faced by aviation regulators and the industry in the liberalization process. The discussion was led by prominent speakers and panellists from a cross-section of States, regions and interested parties.
