The Sixth Meeting of the ICAO NAT North Atlantic Region Technology and Interoperability Group (NAT TIG/6) was held from 17 to 21 September 2018 in Bodø, Norway. The main purpose of the meeting was to review the results of the data link monitoring programme and to initiate corrective action as required. The meeting carried out an assessment of the implementation of Performance Based Communications Surveillance (PBCS) on 29 March 2018 to determine any "lessons learnt". Another important topic was reviewing the implementation plans and Concept of Operations for Spaced-Based Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) to support Advanced Surveillance-Enhanced Procedural Separation trials which are scheduled to begin in March 2019.
