Managing Compliance with ICAO SARPs – CAA Senior and Middle Managers Training Course, Tbilisi, Georgia – 9 to 13 September 2019

The last training course Managing Compliance with ICAO Standard and Recommended Practices (SARPs) for CAA Senior and Middle Managers organized in the EUR/NAT Regions was held from 9 to 13 September, in Tbilisi Georgia for the Georgian Civil Aviation Authority.

This course aimed to enable the senior and middle managers of the Georgian Civil Aviation Authority to effectively plan, and manage the implementation of ICAO SARPs. The course provided them with information on the use relevant ICAO documentation, processes, tools and techniques to implement ICAO SARPs in their State.

 

This training course, funded by the Government of the People's Republic of China through the South-South Cooperation Assistance Fund, directly supports the ICAO "No Country Left Behind" capacity-building initiative to assist States in the design and oversight of a safe, secure, efficient, economically sustainable and environmentally responsible air transport system, and is fully aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This ICAO-China partnership is delivering concrete benefits to the air transport sector in clear recognition of its tremendous socio-economic benefits.
