ICAO and the Interstate Aviation Committee (IAC) have organized the "ICAO - IAC Safety Data Processing and State Safety Risk Management Workshop". It was a two-days' workshop (21-22 October 2020) conducted remotely in Russian language within the framework of ICAO-IAC Project RER01901.
The workshop covered the topics of safety data collection, processing and analysis to include existing ICAO and IATA tools as well as the key functions of State Safety Risk Management to include hazard identification, risk management, acceptance of service providers' SMS and performance based surveillance. During the workshop, the topics of safety risks induced by COVID-19 developments were discussed. There were around 90 registered participants from 7 States (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia and Uzbekistan) and 4 International and Regional Organization (ICAO, IATA, IAC, Airbus).
