The ACT CORSIA regional workshop, organised by ECAC with the support of the German Environmental Agency and the Turkish Civil Aviation Authority, was held in the Turkish Civil Aviation Academy with participants from Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Serbia, The fYROM and Turkey.

Participants benefited from presentations on General introduction to CORSIA and Annex 16 Volume 4, on the States responsibilities under CORSIA, Monitoring, Reporting and Verification, and on the ACT CORSIA programme. Small groups' discussions were held to facilitate the exchange with the Trainers.
The training workshop was just the first phase of this capacity building initiative. Follow up actions will be undertaken to continue to support the participating States in their activities toward CORSIA implementation.
