The second ICAO EUR/NAT Environment Task Force was held in Minsk, Belarus, from 8 to 10 October 2019.
The objective of the Environment Task Force is to focus on sharing information on the latest developments at ICAO on environment and provide support and develop environment capacity building activities for the EUR/NAT States, with the main focus on the States outside the EU area.

Hosted by the Civil Aviation Authority of Belarus, this capacity building meeting was attended by 13 States of the EUR/NAT Regions and allowed the participants to get more familiar with ICAO' work on environment, mostly the State Action Plan initiative and the related mitigation measures Participating States shared their experiences on developing a State Action Plan, on the implementation of their selected mitigation measures and on their national activities to address CO2 emissions from international aviation. The next meeting will be held in 2020.
