The ENAVSECG/07 meeting was conducted at the ICAO EUR/NAT regional office in Paris from 4-6 June 2019. The meeting, attended by 85 participants representing 31 States, 4 international/regional organizations and 4 industry umbrella organizations, discussed the latest global and regional Aviation Security developments aligned with the priority actions of the GASeP regional roadmap.
States and stakeholders shared their experiences, concerns as well as their projects to address the evolving threat.

There was an agreement that the development of security culture, appropriate training and proper capacity building activities are key to achieving an effective and efficient implementation of ICAO Annex 17.
The meeting decided to establish a sub-group to ENAVSECG with the mandate to develop an impartial, inclusive and collaborative mechanism to facilitate reaching the key priority outcomes of the GASeP by all Member States of the EUR/NAT Regions.
Better cooperation of States, organizations and industry is envisaged to achieve alignment and coordination in the field of capacity building, matching needs of recipient States and available capacity of donor States and organizations
