As the aviation ecosystem becomes more connected and global aviation continues to experience regular attacks on several fronts, Cyber Security became a key challenge for the aviation industry.
Recognizing the need to deal with the advantages and challenges of a digitally networked aviation world and the necessity to protect critical information and communications technology and data, the ICAO EUR/NAT Office is organizing a Cyber Security Symposium which will be conducted from 3 to 5 November 2020, Paris, France.
The Cyber Security Symposium will provide insight into important metrics looking into the strategic approach, including e.g. awareness, culture and legal developments on global, regional and national levels. It intends to focus on urgent technical priorities, protection of systems, supply chain security, redundancy and maintenance as well as highlight the core need of regular communication and information sharing.
