European Air Navigation Planning Group (EANPG)

The European Air Navigation Planning Group (EANPG) was established in 1972 by the Council of ICAO at the recommendation of the Sixth European-Mediterranean Regional Air Navigation (RAN) Meeting (1971). From its Terms of Reference the EANPG shall ensure, inter alia, that air navigation system development plans and action within the EUR Region remain coherent and remain compatible with those of the adjacent ICAO Regions and with the ICAO global plan and world-wide provisions; And to promote and facilitate the harmonisation and co-ordination of the air navigation related programmes of other international organisations.
