The third meeting of the Aeronautical Telecommunication Network Implementation Coordination Group (ATNICG/3), hosted by Airports Fiji Limited, was held from 5 to 9 May 2008 at Nadi, Fiji.
The third meeting of the Aeronautical Telecommunication Network Implementation Coordination Group (ATNICG/3), hosted by Airports Fiji Limited, was held from 5 to 9 May 2008 at Nadi, Fiji. Inaugurating the meeting, Ratu Epeli Nailatkau, Hon’ble Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Civil Aviation, in the presence of Mr. Digby Rossley, Chairman Airports Fiji Limited, stressed the importance of safety, security and environment supporting technologies. The meeting was attended by 67 participants from 17 States and 2 industry partners. The meeting reviewed ATN/AMHS implementation related outcomes of various meetings which took place since the last ATNICG meeting and reviewed the progress made in the implementation during this period. 18 Working Papers and 16 Information Papers related to implementation of ATN in the Asia and Pacific Regions were presented to the meeting. The meeting developed 7 Draft Conclusions for consideration by the CNS/MET Sub Group and APANPIRG.
