Presentation of Artifacts from CAAB for ICAO Asia and Pacific Office Exhibition Hall
H.E. Mr. Shahed Akhtar, Ambassador of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh presented two pieces of artifacts from the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) to Mr. L. B. Shah, Regional Director of the ICAO Regional Office for Asia and Pacific on Thursday, 11 May 2007. The presentation of the two artifacts, the Nakhi Katha hand embroidery hanger depicting the life in Bangladesh and a replica of Bangladesh National Monument built in honour of those who sacrificed their lives during the war of liberation, was conducted at the Lobby of the Kotaite Wing and witnessed by course participants as well as Regional Office staff.
The artifacts from CAAB are put on display at the Exhibition Hall of the Kotaite Wing together with other artifacts and display materials presented to ICAO by States, Administration, and officials who visited the Regional Office
