The Fifteenth Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Flight Procedure Programme 

Steering Committee（FPP/SC15）

The 15th Steering Committee Meeting (SCM) of the Asia-Pacific Flight Procedure Programme (APAC FPP) was successfully held in Beijing, China, from 06 to 08 November 2023. A total of 23 participants attended the meeting.

The FPP Manager presented the accomplishments of the ICAO APAC FPP activities in 2023 and FPP strategy forward in phase V. The activities provided to the FPP Member States mainly focused on three training courses and two workshops, which included 433 participants from 27 States/Administrations. The Steering Committee unanimously endorsed the FPP strategy in phase V and collectively agreed FPP's work plan and annual budget for 2024. 

Procedure Design Webinar (GBAS/SBAS)

It's the first time for ICAO APAC FPP to hold the GBAS/SBAS Webinar. Considering the topic, the speakers included senior technicians form Boeing, PBN Regional Officer from ICAO APAC RSO, instructor from ICAO APAC FPP, senior engineering specialist of Air services Australia, senior experts of PBN and procedure design form ENAC.

The participants reached an unprecedented number of 199 form 23 States/ Administrations. The speakers shared experience on GBAS/SBAS procedure design and implementation. The webinar set up a good platform for participants to interact with each other on the GBAS/SBAS topic.
