APAC Civil /Military Cooperation Lecture/Seminar 2014 OVERVIEW

Welcome​

ICAO will launch  APAC Civil/Military Cooperation Lecture/Seminar  from Nov. 19-21, 2014 in Beijing, China.  This Lecture/Seminar is aiming to raise  awareness on high priority and benefits of Civil/Military Cooperation, to  provide useful guidance based on ICAO Circular330 with a special focus on Conditional Route (CDR) and Airspace Management Cell (AMC) operation which can benefit the airspace management, as well as to share best Civil/Military Cooperation (CMAC) practices among civil and military authorities to facilitate implementation of Flexible Use of Airspace (FUA).

 

The Lecture/Seminar will consist of two parts: The lecture session will take one day and focus on ICAO Circular330/AN-Civil/Military Cooperation in ATM. The seminar session will take two days and will consist of several discussion themes, including military’s view on FUA, success stories and lessons learned, Collaborative Decision Making (CDM) process in FUA and building trust in civil and military cooperation. The expected  will be civil and military authorities within the APAC Region.

  

Experts from  FAA, Eurocontrol, IATA, DFS, AATIP and several States in APAC region are going to speak during the seminar. The total number including all expected and accepted invitees can reach 60. The coming fruits from this Lecture/Seminar will lead the trend for the civil/military coordination in the future for whole region.
