Regulatory Policy Seminar on "Liberalization Policy and Implementation"
(27 - 29 April 2004, Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago)
A Regulatory Policy Seminar with the theme “Liberalization Policy and Implementation” was held in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago for States in the Caribbean basin.
As the second regional seminar following the fifth Worldwide Air Transport Conference (Montreal, 24-28 March 2003), the seminar focused on the practical aspects of liberalization, in particular through the exchange of advice and experience. In order to obtain and share a wide cross section of such experiences, presentations were invited from States and organizations. for: ACS, Barbados, CARICOM, Colombia (still to come), Costa Rica, Cuba (still to come), Dominican Republic (still to come), Jamaica and LACAC made presentations which are available following the link. Presentations were also made by the Secretariat.
