Regulatory Policy Seminar on "Liberalization Policy and Implementation"
(20 - 22 October 2003, Beirut, Lebanon)
A Regulatory Policy Seminar with the theme “Liberalization Policy and Implementation” was held in Beirut, Lebanon for States in the Middle East and North Africa.
As the first regional seminar following the fifth Worldwide Air Transport Conference (Montreal, 24-28 March 2003), the seminar focussed on the practical aspects of liberalization, in particular through the exchange of advice and experience. In order to obtain and share a wide cross section of such experiences, presentations were invited from a number of States and organizations. Presentations were also made by the Secretariat.
