Deposit by Mozambique
Montréal, 27/01/2012
On 27 January 2012, Mozambique deposited its instrument of ratification of the Protocol relating to an amendment to the Convention on International Civil Aviation [Article 3 bis], signed at Montreal on 10 May 1984. This brought the total number of parties to the Protocol to 143.

Signature by Burkina Faso
Montréal, 17/02/2012
On 17 February 2012, during a brief ceremony at ICAO Headquarters, Burkina Faso signed the 2010 Beijing Convention on the Suppression of Unlawful Acts Relating to International Civil Aviation and the 2010 Beijing Protocol Supplementary to the 1970 Hague Convention on the Suppression of Unlawful Seizure of Aircraft. This brought the number of signatures to 24 and 26, respectively.
Shown on the occasion, signing the treaties on behalf of Burkina Faso is Her Excellency Juliette Bonkoungou/Yameogo, Ambassador of Burkina Faso to Canada. Deposits by Poland
Montréal, 15/02/2012
On 15 February 2012, during a brief ceremony at ICAO Headquarters, Poland deposited instruments of ratification of four Protocols of amendment to the Chicago Convention: the Protocols related to the increase in the membership in the Air Navigation Commission (1989) and the Council of ICAO (1990) and the Protocols amending the final paragraph to provide for the Arabic (1995) and Chinese (1998) authentic texts of the Convention.

Deposits by the Dominican Republic

On 27 November 2012, during a brief ceremony at ICAO Headquarters, the Dominican Republic deposited an instrument of ratification to the Convention on the Suppression of Unlawful Acts Relating to International Civil Aviation (Beijing, 2010). On 20 December 2012, during a brief ceremony at ICAO Headquarters, the Republic of Cuba deposited instruments of ratification to the Protocol Supplementary to the Convention for the Suppression of Unlawful Seizure of Aircraft (Beijing 2010), and the Protocol relating to an amendment to the Convention on International Civil Aviation [Final paragraph, Chinese Text] (Montreal 1998).
