Phone Cards

 

A telephone card, calling card or phone card is a small plastic card, sized and shaped like a credit card, used to pay for telephone services. Phone cards are in fact some sort of large stamps and often associated to stamps during philatelic exhibitions.

 

FIJI

Date of issue: 7 December 1994 for the 50th anniversary of ICAO. Two cards were issued with values of $3 and $10; the $10-card was issued in a special presentation folder shown hereafter.

 

 

Fijian Dollar $3 GPT (Get Paid To) prepaid magnetic phone card.

ICAO and Fiji flags; Air Pacific Boeing 747; 50th Anniversary logo; emblem of the Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji (CAAF).

Value: 100 Baht.

Issued in June 1995 for the 50th anniversary of ICAO. Value: 50 Units. Tirage: 25,000 copies. SOLAIC SO3 Chip. Designed by: Davidson, Monaco.

The numbers on the French telephone cards are justified either on the right or on the left, i.e. the figures (on the back of the card) of the two columns are aligned on the right or left side.

The French of the Organization should be written Organisation de l’aviation civile internationale, with only the first letter being capitalized.
