Background: Cameroon used the three postage stamp designs proposed by ICAO for the 40th anniversary (see details at the following link: The 40th Anniversary).

Catalogues consider the date of 20 December 1984 as the issue date of this set, whereas the First Day Covers indicate 30 November 1984. It shall be noted that the selvages of the stamps indicate the printing dates of 5 October 1984 and 12 October 1984.
