ABOUT AIM

  • Undertakes studies and provides guidance relating to aeronautical information services (AIS), aeronautical charts (MAP), aeronautical information management (AIM), world geodetic system – 1984 (WGS-84), aeronautical quality management systems, training of AIS and MAP officers and other related AIS, MAP and AIM matters.
  • Provides technical expertise on the AIS, AIM and MAP subjects to the Assembly, Council and the Air Navigation Commission.
  • Leads and coordinates the transition from AIS to AIM.
  • Maintains aeronautical information and aeronautical chart libraries.
