Procurement
Support Unit (Technical)
The PST is responsible
for:
- the preparation
of technical specifications for goods and services to be procured;
- the investigation
of sources of supply;
- maintenance
of a roster of suppliers and consultancy companies on procurement
and technical data library;
- cost estimates,
technical evaluation of proposals, technical negotiations with suppliers;
- site and factory
acceptance of equipment.
