DIGESTS OF STATISTICS

The Digests of Statistics have been numbered consecutively since 1947. Moreover, each Digest is classified under one of the following series, the issues in each series also being numbered consecutively. All Digests are quadrilingual: English/French/Spanish/Russian. Electronic versions of each digest are also available at a cost of US $200 per digest including necessary documentation and airmail charges. Series T - Traffic (Commercial air carriers)

This Digest contains operational, traffic and capacity statistics of both international and domestic scheduled airlines as well as non-scheduled operators. Data for the latest year are shown on a monthly basis for international and domestic airlines. It also contains annual data covering the latest five-year period for scheduled airlines and non-scheduled operators. Where applicable, the data are for all services (passenger, freight and mail) with separate figures for domestic and international services, for scheduled and non-scheduled services, and for all-freight services.

Series OFOD - On-Flight Origin and Destination

This Digest provides passenger, freight and mail traffic carried between all international city-pairs on scheduled services. It is a quarterly publication which also includes the 12 month traffic for the year ending in the corresponding quarter.

Series TF - Traffic by Flight Stage

This annual publication provides traffic on-board aircraft on flight stages of international scheduled services. The data classified by international flight stage show by air carrier the aircraft type used, the number of flights operated by each aircraft type, the aircraft capacity offered and the traffic (passengers, freight and mail) carried.

Series FP - Fleet and Personnel (Commercial air carriers)

This annual publication provides data on the fleets and personnel of both international and domestic scheduled airlines as well as non-scheduled operators. The Digest consists of statistics on the number and types of aircraft operated, their capacity and their utilization. It also includes the numbers of airline personnel by job category and the annual expenditures for these personnel.

Series F - Financial Data (Commercial air carriers)

This annual Digest contains financial data for international scheduled airlines giving revenues and expenditures for the year (calendar or fiscal), assets and liabilities at the end of the year and retained earnings as well as summary traffic data. Also included are summary tables showing world financial and traffic trends for scheduled airlines.

Series AT - Airport Traffic

This annual publication shows monthly traffic data for the latest year as well as annual data for the latest five-year period for major international airports. The data consist of international aircraft movements, number of passengers embarked and disembarked and tonnes of freight and mail loaded and unloaded.

Series AF - Airports and Route Facilities (Financial data and summary traffic data)

This is an annual publication which contains annual income, expenses and investments for major international airports. It also provides annual revenues, expenses, net capital investments and traffic summary data for en-route air navigation facilities and services for international civil aviation.

Series R - Civil Aircraft on Register

This annual publication provides the number of civil aircraft on the register of a State at the end of the year. These data for commercial and other operators are classified by the type of wing (fixed or rotary), type of propulsion used (jet, turboprop or piston) and the number of engines. Aircraft with a maximum take-off weight (MTOW) over 9 tonnes are identified by type and model.

Doc 9180, Civil Aviation Statistics of the World

The Yearbook presents in one volume the most widely used statistical information on civil aviation activities. It covers in summary form commercial air carrier operational, traffic and capacity data, commercial air carrier financial data, and commercial air carrier fleet and personnel data. Also included are traffic data for major international airports, the number of civil aircraft on register and commercial aircraft safety statistics. Editions covering data before 1998 also include summary data on general aviation and civilian pilot licenses.

Doc 9060, Manual on the ICAO Statistics Programme

This publication explains the Statistics Programme and provides guidance for the completion of the ICAO Air Transport Reporting Forms.
