Objectives

- Master the various global indicators and other carrier fare selection criteria

- Understand how to use IATA Standard Condition 101 for normal fare interpretation

- Determine the lowest fare combination for a series of consecutive and contiguous OW pricing units

- Know how to upgrade tickets based on the latest mixed class fare construction techniques

- Learn how to complete manual airline tickets, MCOs and Multiple Purpose Documents

Prerequisite

- New recruits, ticketing and reservations agents

- Tariff, prorate and computer system analysts

- Interline billing officers responsible for selling, issuing, controlling, accepting and auditing tickets

Experienced staff who have not attended fares and ticketing courses for the past five years are also encouraged to attend this course
