A key feature in this year’s Symposium is the hosting of two concurrent workshops on competency-based training, one for Air Traffic Controllers (ATCOs) and one for Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEPs) in the afternoon of 3 December 2014. The two workshops will launch the ATCO and ATSEP Training Manuals that will be published in early 2015 and serve as precursors to three-day workshops to be conducted in 2015 and 2016. ANSPs, training organization managers and designers, and licensing authorities concerned with ATC or ATSEP training effectiveness should take advantage of this unique opportunity and register for these 2-hour sessions.
Both workshops are offered free of charge on a “first come, first serve” basis to interested NGAP Symposium participants. Due to the limited capacity of 30 seats per workshop, the timely confirmation of your participation will be greatly appreciated.
